sporeGEG Labs is a recreation ground where adventurous educators can come together to play, experiment and create new ways of using technology to enhance learning. Here in Labs, we dont think "Who do i need to ask permission from?" or "Who controls the material?"; we think "What are the outcomes that i desire?" and "Can technology help me achieve these outcomes faster/easier/better?".

What
Almost anything goes here. Large scale projects involving 2000 collaborators from 48 countries. Programs that require ridiculous amounts of coordination between multiple parties, stupendous levels of logistical prowess, and oh, maybe 2 grams of pixie dust. Guinness World Records in number of people using mobile technology in an Augmented Reality Amazing Race. Anything. Except copyrighted material. Here at sporeGEG Labs, we are interested in projects that have not been attempted anywhere else before.

Why
We can play it safe. We can try what others have done in other schools. Or we can dare to dream.
Hopefully, this will inspire educators to innovate with technology.

Who
You. Your colleagues. Your friends. Your brother who is passionate about education. Your sister who can do techy stuff. Your kids who yawn at the prospect of studying.

How
Watch out for this space. We hope to set up our spores (projects) page soon - a place where we can pull together educators from different schools to form a customized ad-hoc team for a particular project, evolve their ideas and start etching out their dreams.
